Drop-point blade made of wear-resistant D2 steel, flat grind

The Drop-Point blade is made of high-quality D2 tool steel, which is characterized by very good resistance to blunting. This material ensures long-lasting sharpness and high cutting efficiency. The blade is finished with a flat grind, which allows for smooth and controlled cuts while maintaining adequate edge strength. The spine of the blade features jimping, i.e., a serrated thumb rest, which increases stability and control during precise knife work.

G10 laminate handle with non-slip texture

The knife’s handle is made of G10 laminate, which is resistant to mechanical damage, moisture and temperature changes. The textured surface provides a good grip, which translates into a secure and stable grip even in harsh weather conditions. The ergonomically shaped handle fits well in the hand, reducing fatigue during prolonged use. The Orix model is equipped with a convertible spring clip, which allows the knife to be carried on either the left or right side, facilitating quick access regardless of the user’s preference.

Quick release, flipper and Liner Lock

The knife can be opened with one hand using a flipper or thumb hole. Both mechanisms operate smoothly thanks to a ceramic ball bearing on the blade pivot, which reduces friction and speeds up blade opening. The flipper also acts as a cross guard, preventing the hand from slipping onto the cutting edge. Once the blade is unfolded, it is held securely in the working position by a Liner Lock, which is durable and easy to use.
