Pointman Map Compass
The Pointman map compass is a practical and precise navigation tool that will work well in the hands of both beginners and more experienced users. It facilitates orientation in the field during orienteering, trekking, or survival expeditions. Thanks to its accurate divisions, lightweight construction, and solid workmanship, it is a reliable piece of equipment for every outdoor enthusiast.
Fluorescent markings and magnifying glass
The compass has been equipped with fluorescent markings that allow it to be used in the dark or in limited light. This solution increases safety and comfort during nighttime use. The built-in magnifying glass makes it easier to read fine map elements, such as contour lines, trail markings or orientation symbols, which significantly improves the precision of navigation in the field.
Rulers adapted to different map scales
The Pointman model is equipped with two measuring rulers to quickly calculate distances according to the map scale. The rulers are adjusted to two popular scales:
- 1:25000 – designed for detailed travel maps,
- 1:50000 – standard scale used in topographic maps.
With these markings, the compass makes it easy to plan your route and accurately determine distances between points. In addition, there are rulers in centimeters and inches on the sides of the body to increase functionality and facilitate quick measurements in the field.
Protective cover and anti-loss protection
The body of the compass is made of durable plastic, which provides resistance to mechanical damage and harsh weather conditions. The lockable cover effectively protects the glass and the interior of the compass from scratches and dirt. With compact dimensions of 120 x 65 x 25 mm, the device easily fits into a pocket or backpack. A safety cord is included to protect the compass from accidental loss during intensive outdoor activities.
