Folding shovel inspired by the equipment of NATO troops and the United States Army. Thanks to the combination of hardened steel and 6061 aluminum, it is characterized by high durability while maintaining low weight. Its compact design makes it suitable for many situations: from camping and survival expeditions to searching with a metal detector or as an emergency tool in the car. It is also perfect for gardening or snow removal.
Hardened steel blade and aluminum handle
The blade of the shovel is made of hardened 65 Mn steel with a hardness of 42–46 HRC, which guarantees high resistance to deformation and cracking. The 6061 aluminum handle (46–49 HRC) with a diameter of 25 mm and walls 1.5 mm thick ensures rigidity and low weight. Inside, there is a steel insert and a stainless steel spring, which are responsible for the smooth and quick unfolding of the tool. This design combines the strength of steel with the lightness of aluminum, which is crucial during long field trips.
Blade lock and pickaxe function
The shovel is equipped with a blade locking mechanism that allows it to be set in a semi-open position, enabling the tool to be used as a pickaxe or hoe. The aluminum locking ring has a steel partition that protects the interior from dirt. The edges of the blade are sharply profiled to facilitate work in hard ground, and the two side edges are equipped with a saw function for cutting roots and branches.
Rugged design and mobility
The compact design of the shovel allows for quick folding and reduction in length from a full 58 cm to 23 cm. When folded, the shovel takes up little space and fits easily into a backpack, tactical pocket, or car glove compartment. Its low weight of 1.34 kg allows for convenient carrying and comfortable work in the field.
